Ceramics Portfolio

Growing up in Louisiana, my earliest memories are of playing in the mud, and in many ways, I never stopped doing so. From childhood, I was constantly creating with my hands, whether it was with clay, playdough, or any other tactile medium. Ceramics became the medium where everything finally clicked: it satisfied my need for hands-on creation, offered a sense of immediacy, and allowed me to grow in ways that 2D art never quite could. While I come from a background in graphic design, which influences my love of color and illustrative details. I’m still exploring my style, and I hope to continue doing so. That said, I’m often drawn to soft, rounded forms and bright, playful glazes, pinks, purples, and blues that speak to the joyful, expressive side of making.
