Help A Hero Promotion
The Help A Hero Scholarship promotion is one of Sport Clips’ most impactful annual campaigns, raising funds to support veterans and service members continuing their education. My role was to design clear, respectful, and emotionally resonant creative that honored military service while motivating clients to participate in the cause. These materials were rolled out nationwide and supported in-store donations and Veterans Day initiatives, helping translate a powerful mission into accessible, effective visual communication.
Donation Tracker and
Sticky Notes
To support the Help A Hero Scholarship campaign, I designed a donation tracker poster that clearly communicated the purpose and impact of client donations. An accompanying sticky-note interaction allowed donors to visually mark their participation, creating a dynamic in-store display that highlighted community involvement and reinforced the campaign’s mission.
Mirror Cling
To bring the impact of the Help A Hero Scholarship to a personal level, I designed a mirror cling for each stylist station featuring a scholarship recipient’s photo, story, and a QR code for easy donating. Placed directly in front of clients during their service, the cling created a meaningful moment of connection while offering a simple, accessible way to support the cause.
Table Tent
The table tent is designed for high-visibility placement near the checkout counter. The layout balanced concise messaging with strong visuals to quickly inform clients about the promotion and encourage participation at a natural point in the customer journey.
Floor Decal
As part of the Help A Hero Scholarship campaign, I created a floor decal intended for high visibility and quick impact. Positioned in the center of the store, the decal used bold graphics and minimal copy to interrupt foot traffic and reinforce the promotion's awareness in an engaging way.
Military Coupons
For the Help A Hero Scholarship campaign, I designed military-themed coupons distributed to Sport Clips locations nationwide. The coupons reinforced the campaign’s message through cohesive, respectful visuals while serving as a tangible takeaway that helped extend awareness of the promotion beyond the in-store experience.
Social Stills
I developed a high volume of social stills for the Help A Hero Scholarship campaign, supporting both paid and organic social efforts. The creative alternated between recipient-focused storytelling and promotional messaging around haircut initiatives, ensuring a balanced approach that drove both emotional connection and campaign participation.
Social Videos / Testimonials
For the Help A Hero Scholarship campaign, I produced social video content featuring testimonial-style storytelling from scholarship recipients, alongside videos promoting haircut-driven Veterans initiatives. Visual interest was created through thoughtful pacing, motion elements, and engaging layouts, resulting in content optimized for both paid and organic social placements.
Emails
I created campaign emails for the Help A Hero Scholarship to inspire client donations and track progress. The initial email focused on encouraging support to reach the $1.35M goal, while the follow-up showcased how close we were, featuring a GIF of the donation tracker filling to create urgency and visual interest.
