National Huddle 2024

This year’s Huddle theme was centered entirely around our attendees, highlighting the “I’m” in “I’m a Game Changer.” We brought this to life by showcasing imagery submitted by team members from across the country, allowing guests to see themselves represented throughout the event. Held at the Nashville Convention Center in Tennessee, the experience was designed to feel personal, inclusive, and truly all about them.

Escalator Runner

This design was created to lead viewers up toward the event space, building excitement as they ascended into the heart of the convention center. It not only amplified anticipation for the Huddle but also showcased the brand in a bold, seamless, and cohesive way.

Sponsorship Boards

Sponsorship boards were displayed outside the Supplier Fair, recognizing the generous companies that contributed to this year’s Huddle. This signage played a key role in highlighting all participating suppliers, giving them visibility and appreciation while guiding attendees toward their booths.

Spotlight Speaker Shirt

This shirt design was inspired by our spotlight speaker, Veronica Jordan, and her impactful journey at Sport Clips. The concept drew from key elements of her story: her favorite color, red; a triangle symbolizing the three pillars of her message; and the title of her speech, “No Matter What.” Each design choice was made to visually represent and honor her inspiring narrative.

Event Photo Download Card

This card was created to help attendees easily access their event photos. Photographers handed these cards out directly, and they were also placed at registration tables and breakout areas to guide attendees to their images.

National Huddle 2025

This year’s Huddle centered around our three core pillars: Run the Playbook, Create Raving Fans, and Build a Legacy, all unified under the overarching theme Play Like a Champion. Inspired by the high-energy, collage-style visuals of gameday sports graphics, the design embraced layered textures, ripped paper, and dynamic pencil doodles featuring X’s and O’s to represent strategic plays. This visual direction brought the playbook concept to life in a bold and engaging way. The event was held at the San Antonio Convention Center, setting the stage for a high-impact and memorable experience.

Registration Panels

Registration panels were the first area attendees encountered upon entering the convention center, allowing them to proceed into the event. These panels stood out by reflecting the event theme while staying true to the Sport Clips brand. I brought the theme to life by using layered textures and imagery that tied back to the three pillars. A home run for Run the Playbook, combined retro & new logos for Build a Legacy, and cheering fans for Create Raving Fans.

Ribbon Wall

The ribbon wall is a fun, interactive spot right next to registration where attendees customize their badges with playful ribbons. It’s a key area for personal expression and sets a welcoming tone for the event. I brought the brand and theme to life by featuring a fan cheering on a stylist in the chair, with the fan’s shirt reading “Sporty” to add personality and a playful nod to our message.

Wayfinding Sigange

Wayfinding signage was displayed outside breakout room doors and throughout key areas of the convention center to help attendees easily navigate events such as the Supplier Fair, breakout sessions, and the Awards Ceremony. I also had the opportunity to design a special banner for Canada to show some love to our friends up north—eh!
